Representative Ron Paul (R-TX) has introduced a bill into the House of Representatives to audit the Federal Reserve. Despite their name, the Federal Reserve is not a government agency, they are a private bank. Unfortunately they have the power to set the monetary policy of the United States and have driven our economy and currency into the ground with their reckless and irresponsible actions. Despite the fact that Alan Greenspan thinks they are above the law they should be forced to answer to the American people. This bill is one way to introduce some transparency into this criminal organization and is long overdue.
