Swine Flu? Smoke em if you got it; Nicotine can stop Cytokine Storm

What often kills people who catch Swine Flu is not the virus itself but the body’s immune system reaction which is called a cytokine storm. Ironically this often occurs in young, healthy people with good immune systems which is why the Swine Flu seems to be more dangerous to people between 20-50.

“If a cytokine storm occurs in the lungs, for example, fluids and immune cells such as macrophages may accumulate and eventually block off the airways, potentially resulting in death”

While this may sound completely insane, there have been studies showing that nicotine can reduce a cytokine storm and the ensuing inflammation. One such article detailing this information was “Body Blazes” by Lisa Melton published in Scientific American in June 2006. For a full text of the article click here

You can also read more about nicotine being an anti inflammatory here.

Air Force One backup plane buzzes New York City

The official story is that this was some kind of photo op to get a shot of Air Force One over the Statue of Liberty. Is this really necessary? A fifth grader with photoshop could create such a photo without terrorizing the people of New York City. I don’t know what happened but the official story is complete bullshit, there was something else going on here.

Rick Perry is a wolf in sheep’s clothing

Don’t be seduced by Rick Perry and his bill asserting Texas’ 10th Amendment rights. While the bill itself is a great idea, Perry himself is no friend to those who want small government, instead he just wants a global government. In 2007 he traveled all the way to Istanbul, Turkey to meet with the Bilderberg group.
