House passes mandatory volunteerism bill

Well it looks like Rahm Emanuel is getting his dream of compulsory civil defense service for all young people. On March 18, 2009 the House passed the GIVE Act to supposedly provide volunteer opportunities for American youth. The scary part is this:

But the bill’s opponents — and there are only a few in Congress — say it could cram ideology down the throats of young “volunteers,” many of whom could be forced into service since the bill creates a “Congressional Commission on Civic Service.”

The bipartisan commission will be tasked with exploring a number of topics, including “whether a workable, fair and reasonable mandatory service requirement for all able young people could be developed and how such a requirement could be implemented in a manner that would strengthen the social fabric of the nation.”

Mandatory civilian defense service, isn’t that how Hitler’s Youth started? Just wait until Obama’s minions come knocking on your door telling you, Yes We Can!

It’s about time you got pissed Obama

So Obama has finally become outraged over AIG and the bonuses they are still paying out while being supported by taxpayer welfare. This begs the question, what took you so long Obama? What part of this bailout travesty has not been an armed robbery of the American people? AIG is a disgrace, they should be burned to the ground. LET THEM FAIL!

Photo of the Year

This has to be the Photo of the year, a snapshot of a sign taken on Wall Street. I think it pretty much sums up the average American’s feelings towards the banks and criminals who work on Wall Street.
